Today I met with Arsen and Pavel, who were on board Pangea from October 3 to October 10. They spent a wonderful vacation with Yildiz Yachting and were very satisfied with the team’s work, service and the boat itself! They will be happy to recommend your company to their friends.
For my part, I also want to thank you for your work and hope we can work together many more times in the future!
Having just returned from our first flotilla holiday and our very first as charterers it would be fair to say we were a little nervous. However we can safely say that Dave and Nüket (flotilla leaders and Yildiz owners) provided the support and expertise that made this trip one to remember.
If you are contemplating sailing, chartering or flotilla in Turkey there is, in my opinion, only one Company to consider- Yildiz Yachting; they were brilliant.
We just wanted to say a huge thank you for such a great week spent with Yildiz Yachting, brilliantly (and sympathetically in the C-19 circumstances) organised by Nautilus.
The winds were great, the locals were lovely, the places we visited were interesting, scenic and memorable with delicious food along the way. We were also lucky to find great company on our flotilla, we’ve made some friends for life.
The biggest influence on our week were Mike and Debbie - their knowledge is awesome, their approach very laid back, but at the same time supportive; their company is great. They know the local characters and best eateries and they are not afraid to make the necessary comments where standards dip below their high expectations. They made our first Turkish flotilla pure joy.
They are very ably backed up at base, the Yildiz team are also very supportive and nothing is too much trouble . . . clean yacht, good equipment in great condition, no hassles. we can’t recommend this flotilla highly enough - if you’re looking for a late break in 2020 (or any time thereafter), go to Turkey. The Turks are very conscious of C-19 and take a very responsible and efficient approach without being ‘in your face’ - you’re safe their hands. Thank you all for a great holiday.
Super week. Great company and so many many nice things to remember. Great sailing, lovely bays and super restuarants. Thanks to Mike and Debbie for looking after us and giving us all the best recommendations. Oh wow - what a fortnight we had! Wonderful sailing, fun, food, camaraderie - all made possible by the amazing Mike and Debbie! Calm, organised, helpful and simply two of the kindest, loveliest people you’re ever likely to meet. Great boats and sailing area too. Fabulous coves and little secluded restaurants tucked away. . . . the skipper was fantastic- he got the balance just right and did so much more than we thought - to such an extent one of the friends we were with (on another yacht) also tipped him at the end. I would heartily recommend him. Boat was great. Local Yildiz team very helpful.
Just a note to say how excellent the organization was on our vacation, the pick up and drop off at the airport was effortless, everyone was extremely friendly and Alex and Lynn who led our flotilla were extremely hard working, courteous and professional in all aspects of the flotilla.
We spent a week sailing with Yildiz out of Fethiye last week. We had a fantastic week! Everything was very well organised and they took us to some great little places over-night. Mike and Debbie were very helpful and friendly towards us. Always there to help but gave us the confidence to do our own sailing. Would highly recommend this company and will use them again!

Thank you very much for facilitating the fantastic voyage from Fethiye to Orhaniye in July/August. It made a great change from our usual flotilla trips and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Just back from a wonderful time with Yildiz on a two-week flotilla holiday from Fethiye to Selimiye. We stopped in some great places and met some wonderful people. Very fond memories of Bozukkale with the owners, Jan and Dursun who took great care of us.
Beautiful stays in Dirsek with Ali, Levent and the team. A wobbly stay at a a new place that needs some improvement but was great fun! The flotilla leaders made sure we were all safely moored on the rickety dock and we ended up having a lovely time. A big thanks to Alan and Kristin for all their hard work and planning that made the trip very enjoyable, thanks for all the tips, both sailing and gastronomical.

We have now been on around 10 yachting holidays of which at least 6 have been flotillas. They are both very well prepared each morning and are always on time for the briefings (unlike the clients). They know the sailing area very well so can advise with confidence the best places to moor etc at lunchtime. They are always helpful and very good fun, and of course join in with everything, and are there to make life easy for us whether it's mooring (at which Alan is very good and you always feel in safe hands, and he is keen to give you instruction), or booking the restaurant and ordering your meals at which Kristin is really good. She seems to be popular with the local restaurant owners and managers. We like the way she swam out to the yacht when moored in the bay one night with the menus under her hat! '

We just returned from a great time sailing in the Fethiye region. My partner and I took part in a two week flotilla holiday. We had a wonderful time.
The boat was exactly as advertised, the staff were all extremely helpful and efficient. Our flotilla leaders, Mike and Debbie, were wonderful. Mike made the statement, Keep Calm and Carry On, a reality. Whist Debbie's tips about where to go and how best to make use of all the facilities was indispensable. Her dancing shoes were always ready too!
The Turkish people were so welcoming wherever we went and the food delicious. Crystal clear bays, turtles, dolphins . . . a sailing holiday to be remembered. Thank you.
Just a short note to say thank you for your help with our recent flotilla holiday in Turkey.
All went very well, Zippy was great and lived up to its name! The wide aft berth worked well and stopped all the back aches.
Thought it worth mentioning the flotilla lead crew as they were fantastic. The week they planned consisted of a large variety of different overnight stops from a 'shack type' restaurant mooring on what looked like Popeye's jetty, to a 5* marina standard overnight stay.
Regardless of the aesthetics all the restaurants we visited were clean and produced good, authentic , local food.
The whole week was well thought out and planned by them both and this made for an easy, no stress week. Kristin even gave us some photos she had taken of the trip.
Thanks for a great time! We will be back.

Mike and Deb were patient, knowledgeable and utterly unflappable.
Their knowledge of the area and laid-back approach meant that all in our flotilla were given scope to sail, with the comfort and security of knowing that the end destination was secure and hassle free. Please pass on our thanks to them.
Our boat was in excellent condition with no issues at all. The air con was a welcome treat when we had shore power (much to the envy of the other flotilla members).
I would also like to thank you for the relaxed and hassle free way that our booking and arrangements were dealt with by yourselves. The transfers were prompt and very professional and the boat handovers were smooth and efficient. The sailing location and variety of places visited were also excellent and I was very humbled by how we were regarded by the locals we encountered; nothing was too much trouble.
My only criticism is of myself for not finding this area sooner.

We have just returned from our wonderful flotilla week. We were delighted to have Alan and Kristin as our flotilla leaders. They were great and very professional. We have appreciated their advice on our sailing skills as well as bays to see and places to eat.

Because we enjoyed it so much last year, we were sailing a one week flotilla in the Fethiye Gulf again this year. There were familiar things, but a lot of new things to discover, too. We were especially glad to see our flotilla leaders of last year again. Mike and Debbie led our flotilla very professionally again this year, and they helped and advised us at any time. Everything was very well organized, the evening meals at the bay restaurants were always a sumptuous treat. Dear Mike, dear Debby, you were splendid, and we hope to see you again next year! We would also like to point out the friendliness and professionalism of the Yildiz team. The handover and return of the yacht were totally relaxed and stress-free. A sucessful holiday all round! Als eine Gruppe von sieben Segelneulingen hatten meine Familie und Freunde eine wunderbare Zeit während eines Yildiz Yachting Urlaubs. Die Personengruppe verstand sich blendend, die Kinder fanden neue Freunde und wir alle verbesserten unsere Segelfertigkeiten dank der Hilfe der Flotillaleiter. Jeder Tag war ein Vergnügen, und wir sahen die Schönheit der Türkei. Wir können einen Segelurlaub bei Yildiz Yachting sehr empfehlen.
This was our first flotilla holiday and we were not sure what to expect We had planned it as a treat for ourselves for our 25th wedding anniversary and so went for the full two weeks, and I'm very glad that we did. We never visited the same place twice and each bay we visited had its own little treasure, from the simple rustic charm of Cold Water Bay to the plush luxury of Wall Bay.
Our boat was an older model, but well maintained and in excellent working order; you can tell how well the company look after their fleet, and my wife and I were delighted with the Beneteau 343 chosen for us. It was ideal for our needs.
The lead crew of Alan and Kristin were professional, entertaining and a pleasure to spend time with over the two weeks we were there. We made friends with the other boat crews and obviously had our shared love of sailing as a common interest, which gave us loads to talk and laugh about in the evenings where we enjoyed the local foods and wines of the area which were both plentiful and very high quality. The company owners often met up with us on location for the evening and Dave and Nukhet were very easy to talk to and get on with.
My wife is already talking about next year's holiday and I must say I'm fully on board with that!
Thank you so much for making our holiday so wonderful, the balance was perfect; the sailing was exciting with all the passages easily achievable without motoring, all the locations were beautiful, the food was excellent and you guys are the best . . . hope to see you next year!
I would like to praise both Alan and Kristin Carter for the professional service they gave to all the flotilla crew during our week in Fethiye. In addition to this I would personally like to draw to your attention to the caring behaviour of Kristin when I was rushed to hospital on the Sunday evening (at the start of the holiday). The speed at which transport across the bay and an ambulance could be organised could not be faulted. Kristin was by my side during my visit to the hospital and reassured me at every moment possible.
I would not hesitate in recommending this holiday to anyone fortunate enough to have 'The Carters' on the lead boat.
The crew at Yildiz Yachting were fantastic: all of them. We could not have wished for a greater bunch of people to organise things. The flotilla lead crew of Alan and Kristin were absolutely first class.
Their true colours really showed when a crew member on one of the other boats suffered an allergic reaction to something she had eaten. We were in a remote location, but their obviously rehearsed contingency plans, together with the immediate response of the restaurant owner, ensured that she was in a hospital in Dalaman in quick time. This was partly as a result of the fast motor boat ride across the bay...
the quality of the transfers to the marina in Fethiye at both arrival and the end were 'premiere class'. The boat, whilst over 10 years old, was well equipped, in excellent condition, with new sails and EVERYTHING worked. How refreshing!
I would like to take the chance to say once again 'Thank you' for your wonderful organisation and everything around.
I must admit (if I am honest) that I had in the very beginning, mixed feelings to book directly in Turkey instead of using the safe way of using a German agent, but our group decision was more than perfect. I need to pay your company a maximum compliment and I am sure we will return as happy customers anytime soon.
All went very well. Transfer was waiting for us at Dalaman and we were received very well at the port. One thing I would like to congratulate the sailing company on is for the cleanliness of the yacht. Everything was spotless.

We loved Turkey, what a great place with lovely people. Very different to trips we have had in the past. The water is very clear, the food, along with the shopping, was great.
Yildiz were great, in fact a Welsh couple that run the flotillas came to our boat on the day we arrived and gave us an itinerary and some very good recommendations. The other good news is we got to see all the rugby games on our travels so that was awesome.
Overall the boat was in great condition and we had a ball.
We just come back from a two-week holiday with Serap (6 people). Although ten years old, she brought us safe everywhere! The first week we were in a flotilla. It was the best decision because our skipper hasn’t been to a ship for some time and the tips John and Elsa gave us were just great.
For the second week they gave us some advice where to go. The support by Yildiz was perfect. We would choose Yildiz and John and Elsa again and can recommend them 100%!
We’ve just returned from our two-week flotilla in Orhaniye. We had one of our best sailing holidays ever – although the winds were light, we had odd days of excellent sailing.
The main reason for this e-mail though is to give feedback on the flotilla leads, Alan and Kristin. They were truly outstanding and an asset to the organisation.
First I would like to thank for the perfect flotilla trip to Orhaniye for both myself and my wife. Please send our best to Alan and Kristin. They were both marvelous. The route was nice, they have been very helpful. We have learnt a lot from Alan in terms of sailing I must add.
I think all members in other yachts had a great time together and were really happy to be a part of such a team and have fun there.
Since Saturday I’m back from my lovely flotilla tour with Alan and Kristin. I want to thank these two guides for a wonderful week of sailing and meeting international people.
They prepared the daily tours so excellent especially with handouts (very important for non-native English speakers – so you can read the information once more).
It was marvelous to watch Alan’s magic tricks and to get Kristin’s tips at the end of the briefing in the morning.

Just wanted to let you know we had a fantastic week on Scooby-Doo. The weather was kind with plenty of sun and plenty of wind so great sailing – the ‘newbies’ thoroughly enjoyed their first taste of sailing too!

This was our 3rd recent charter in Turkey and our most enjoyable.
The Yildiz shore base staff were very efficient and helpful, the boat was in very good condition and well prepared.
The weather (as high as 44C) was way above normal for June and winds lighter but we had a reasonable amount of good sailing. The short leg back to base was the only day-off for the sails.
The scenery in the area was spectacular and we were delighted with all the Restaurants we visited. Dirsek Buku got the top vote but Serce Limani; Captains Table, Sogut; Aphrodite, Bozburun and the new Jetty Restaurant at Kuzbuku were all very enjoyable and the people were delightful.
The cleanliness and presentation of the boat at the start was the best I have ever experienced. The lead boat crew, John and Elsa, were superb in every way. Transfers were seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Hi, Just a short note to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed our sailing holiday with Yildiz Yachting. They were great to deal with and even though we had a mechanical problem with the boat they were very quick to put it right with much apologies. We had perfect weather and the boat was in very good condition and was very well equipped.
We have just had an amazing week, the best of our three flotillas to Turkey and Alan and Kristın had the most significant influence on our experience. Since we last came in 2012 they have introduced some great value add services.

Turkish mobiles on board so you can contact other flotilla members and the lead boat when out at sea – saves UK mobiles costs.
The Yildiz embossed sunscreens that provided valuable protection in what was our hottest week so far.
The route this year was great, good sailing waters but not a massive trek each day. (It’s a holiday not an endurance test so the distances appealed to our needs) The evening locations were a great mixture of rustic, shabby chic, bohemian and boutique, every night was different and all were top quality.
The briefings were excellent each morning and Alan and Kristin helped us every day and also developed our skills (this is important when we only sail once a year) and always with fun. They are great company, hugely competent and a total pleasure to sail with again.
We have just returned from one of the best flotilla sailing holidays ever! (after at least ten years regular experience!)
Our flotilla leaders could not have tried harder. They provided an itinerary with outstanding Turkish food from a good variety of venues, from the rustic to the more sophisticated. The weather was kind and a lovely balance of warmth and pleasant winds. The location - stunning!
